Our man-and-van house clearance service removes unwanted household contents for disposal. We handle full and partial clear-outs, including end-of-tenancy and bereavement clearances. This is a waste collection service; it does not include relocating belongings to another property.
Start with a room-by-room list
Walk through the property and list the items for removal in each room. Keep furniture, bags and loose items separate in your description. A full-property clearance and a few unwanted items need different amounts of planning, so be clear about the scope.
Mark what needs to stay
Set aside personal documents, photographs, keys and valuables before collection arrangements are made. If only part of a room is being cleared, identify the items that should remain. For shared properties, confirm that you have permission to arrange removal.
Show the access as well as the items
Photographs of doorways, stairs and the route to the collection point can help explain a job. Mention upper-floor flats, lift availability, narrow hallways and parking restrictions. Tell us if an item is assembled and too large to pass through the doorway.
Garages, lofts and sheds
Describe any difficult access or unstable storage. List paint, fuels, batteries, electrical items and unidentified containers separately. Do not open or mix unknown substances as part of a clear-out. Confirm which items can be accepted before making arrangements.
Before agreeing a collection
Check that the quote covers the agreed item list and loading arrangements. Confirm the date, time window and any conditions that could change the price. If more items are added later, update the enquiry before collection.
